In previous Baumgartner’s blogs, we’ve mentioned how important a mattress is – on average, a person will spend about a third of their life sleeping. However, this makes the bed itself just as important. A bed is the focal point of every bedroom. When people are daydreaming during work, it’s often of their bed. Here are four things to consider when purchasing a new bed.

1. Size
Just like home sizes, bed sizes also vary quite a bit. This allows shoppers to pick the size of bed that fits their needs best. For instance, apartments tend to be smaller than duplexes or houses.
